Our History
Since the team’s formation in 2004, many dedicated students have strived to produce the best and most innovative cars for competition utilising the facilities provided at QUT and those of our generous sponsors.
QUT Motorsport has a rich history that stems back to the team’s inception with QMX-1 all the way through to the cutting edge technology used in our newest innovation QEV-4.
The history of our team is something we consider to be a part of our identity today. It is something we reflect on so that we learn from the past and continue to grow. We will always look back and appreciate the work by previous members that helped us get to where we are today.
